Casiano Ancalle
Mr. Ancalle has over 40 years of experience as a water engineer specialized in water resources, storm water management, and water/wastewater engineering. His expertise includes: • watershed management • flood control • river regulation • erosion & sediment control • water distribution systems design • water filtration plant design • wastewater collection systems design • wastewater treatment plants design and • environmental compliance. He has served as an expert witness in various court cases over the past 25 years, written tenths of technical articles in professional journals, and lectured in several universities. He has completed over 800 design projects and studies in Puerto Rico, DC, Virginia, Maryland, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Bolivia, and Venezuela.
Prior to founding CA Engineering, Mr. Ancalle was the President of the Development Corporation of Oruro and the General Manager of the Aqueduct and Sewerage Authority in Oruro, Bolivia. He has also worked as a project engineer for Metcalf & Eddy (now part of AECOM), Baker Wibberley & Associates, and the Environmental Quality Board of Puerto Rico. He was a professor of Wastewater Engineering at the Technical University of Oruro, and has also lectured for the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and the Professional Association of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico. Since founding the company, he has provided consulting services for the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and currently provides consulting services for the DC Water & Sewer Authority.
